Sports Club Villa is set to play Lweza Football Club in a friendly game in a liberation day engagement on Monday at Nakivubo Stadium.

SC Villa Public Relations Officer, Paul Kiwa confirmed the development to Kawowo Sports;

SC Villa will play Lweza in the Liberation Cup on Monday at Nakivubo Stadium. Entry fee has been set at 3000/=. The match shall start at 4:30 p.m

This is the third meeting for the two clubs in a space of 4 months.

In the previous two outings, SC Villa has beaten Lweza 1-0.

The first match was the 2014 Independence Cup where Aziz Kemba scored the only goal and in the 2014/15 UPL league engagement at Mityana Ssaza ground where Karim Ndugwa scored.

The two clubs will be testing several players ahead of the second round league kick off slated for 13th February 2015.

Lweza F.C has had a busy transfer window, signing 3 players – Dan Wagaluka, Geofrey Sserunkuma and a Nigerian left back, Rafael Ono.

SC Villa is yet to officially confirm their new signings ahead of the second round.

The round league champions will have to contend with life minus their proven goal scorer, Karim Ndugwa (off to AFC Leopards), Aziz Kemba (Tusker) and Hassan Wasswa, who is seeking greener pastures in the Arab world.
