1st Corporate Woodball Circuit:

Sunday, February 8, 2015, MUBS – Nakawa (1- 5pm)

The inaugural corporate woodball circuit of the year, 2015 kicks off this Sunday at the Makerere University Business School (MUBS) Nakawa based campus.

Uganda Woodball Federation (UWbF) official, John Baptist Kateregga in a release said;

Besides the usual singles competition, we shall have corporate people taking part in doubles competitions with partners determined by a raffle. We hope this will aid to enhance their teamwork skills.

Bukenya Godfrey (St. Joseph’s Technical Institute Kisubi) and Luwedde Shahnaaz (St. Mark’s College Namagoma) won the corresponding Circuit in 2014.

Bukenya went on to finish the year 2nd behind Bank of Uganda’s Osire William whereas Luwedde finished the year 3rd behind Apio Agnes (Bank of Uganda) and Matovu Rose (Ndejje University).

We are hopeful of a more competitive Circuit with more participants this time round.

Expected are the Ndejje University’s duo of Lukooya Eric & Nviri Moses, UCU’s Mulawa Zac, Mukisa Simon & Ochan Bernard), Motherwell Junior School – Mutungo (Ssemusu Billy Jeans), St. Joseph’s Technical Institute Kisubi (Iga David, Kawuki Ibrahim, Ssimbwa David & Ssemata Raymond), ICPAU (Omona Mark, Oola Simon & Neema Godfrey) and the duo of Njawuzi Elijah & Ssemmanda Joseph Collins fromStroke Woodball Club ( .

For 2015, corporates 6 Circuits will be held with the overall winner crowned at the Awards Gala in December 2015.
