Uganda Sand Cranes striker Hamim Semakula notched a hat-trick to help Hurriken group leaders consolidate their number one status at the summit of the table standings with a hard fought 4-3 victory over Nkumba Select at Lido Beach, Entebbe on Sunday.
This was during the match day 10 action of the Pepsi National beach soccer league.
Paul Kato scored the other goal for Kayunga Town Council before another Sand Cranes player, Douglas Muganga got a hat-trick for his side.
Nkumba Select had controversial goal keeper, Kassim ‘Okuku’ Ssenteza sent off for unsporting character and he has been confirmed to be out of action for 4 fixtures.

Harunah Kebba, the national team head coach is happy of the progress of many players in the league;
I am pretty impressed that the players keep improving day in, day out. I have spotted a good player from Stormer (Swaibu Kakwaya), whom I believe has special attributes of the beach soccer game
