Vipers SC started from where they ended in the first round by picking up three vital points away to Jinja based Sadolin Paints.
The 2010 champions who are yet to lose a game in the campaign had Vincent Kayizzi to thank for the lone goal that take them within a point log leaders SC Villa as they leapfrogged KCC into second position.
Vipers are now on 38 points while SC Villa who have a played a game more have 39 points. The loss was Sadolin paints’ third in a row since the second round began. The Painters; had before this encounter lost 1-0 to SC Villa and Bright Stars.
At Bugonga, Geoffrey Lwesibawa scored the only goal of the game to earn Express FC an away win against Entebbe FC.
The win; The Red Eagles’ first since the second half of the season started leaves them eighth on the table with 24 points whilst Entebbe remain at the base with just 10 points.

SC Victoria University’s poor form continued as they lost 1-0 to Kira Young in a boring game played at Namboole.
Patrick Kaddu netted the sole goal for the side. The win was vital for Kira Young after losing three points and also docked as many for failure to honour league fixture against Bright Stars on Tuesday.
