Fresh from winning the Joan Coax memorial tournament last weekend in Gayaza, Vision volleyball camp continued with their dominance over ladies volleyball once more, in the club’s second year of existence.

The Namboole based outfit beat defending champions Nkumba B 3-0(25-11,25-21,25-18) in straight sets to win the two-day Ndejje Open in Luwero on Sunday.

A plus to VVC, the Ndejje Open was among the two finals which they failed to win in 2014 having featured in eleven finals taking nine of those.

With head coach Hannington Nsubuga doing the spade work, VVC sailed over Nkumba A,Sport-S and only dropped a set to KCCA in the group stages.

The latter persisted with their surge easing past varsity side UCU in the quarter finals and beating Espoir volleyball club in semi finals to set closing final date with Nkumba A.

In the finals it was like an accident waiting to happen and the favorites didn’t disappoint. The Namboole based side whitewashed title holders Nkumba B 3-0(25-11,25-21,25-18) in straight sets to be crowned 2015 Ndejje Open ladies champions.
