CAF 2015 BEACH SOCCER QUALIFIERS: (First Leg)
Uganda Sand Cranes 6-9 Ghana Black Sharks
Ghana Black Sharks carry a 3 goal cushion coming into the second leg of the CAF Beach soccer qualifiers after a 6-9 triumph over Uganda Sand Cranes at Sports Beach in Entebbe.
The Black Sharks quickly put aside the traveling woes after arriving less than 3 hours to the game to emphatically register an away victory in a well attended match.
Lanky striker, Mathew Lamptey led the assault netting four times before team skipper, Michael Sema grabbed a hat-trick in a goal laden fixture.
Alexander Adye and Isaac Ofori scored the West African’s other goals on the day.
Uganda scored their goals through Brian Nkuubi, team captain Derrick Tekwo, Roch Somoka and a Baker Lukooya brace.
Coming into the second round that will be held on 22nd March 2015, Uganda will need to triumph by a margin of more than 4 goals to be assured of a slot at next month’s CAF beach soccer championships that will be held in Seychelles.
