CAF 2015 Beach Soccer Qualifier:

Ghana Vs Uganda – Accra (Sunday, 22nd March 2015)

Ghana leads 9-6 on aggregate

Ever since losing 6-9 to Ghana, the Uganda Sand Cranes team had not trained together until Friday, just a day to the return leg of the CAF Beach Soccer Championship qualifier.

Perhaps, the team had a double training session on Friday before boarding for the West African nation the following day.

The schedule in the run to the return leg implies the team has trained for just one day prior to the Sunday return leg.

We had logistical problems and we hope to put all these behind us as we focus for the away game

The team manager, also Uganda Beach Soccer Association (UBSA) Chairman, Deo Mutabazi told Kawowo Sports.

The team to Ghana has 8 players and 5 officials. Baker Lukooya, who scored a brace in the home fixture will lead the line alongside, club mate at MUBS beach soccer club as Roch Somoka remains the understudy.

Only one goal keeper, Ashadu Bugembe has been taken leaving the two options, Nasser Lwamunda and Michael Kalule behind.
