University of Pretoria striker, Geofrey Massa has trained with the locally based players preparing for Uganda’s away trip to Nigeria.

Massa has been in the country after seeking a week long compassionate leave from his South Africa based club.

I look focused for the Wednesday game. It is a pleasure to play against Nigeria, one of Africa’s giants.

Massa told Kawowo Sports after Sunday’s training session at Lugogo.

Head coach, Micho, has left behind three of the earlier named players (Derrick Tekkwo, Ibrahim Kiyemba and Chrizestom Ntambi) ahead of the Nigerian match.

URA sharp striker, Robert Sentongo, Vipers trio of goalie Isma Watenga, Faruku Miya and Kezironi Kizito, defenders, Shafiki Bakaki (Express) and Joseph Nsubuga (Bright Stars) make the team.

The Ugandan local based stars will depart for Ethiopia on Sunday evening aboard Ethiopian Airlines for an overnight stop over in Addis Ababa.

It is in Ethiopia that they will be joined by the other players on the team.

The team leaves Ethiopia on Monday morning for Abuja.

Meanwhile, Portugese based William Luwagga Kizito, South African Denis Onyango will fly directly to Nigeria on Tuesday.

The match will be played at Nigeria’s new international stadium in Uyo state.

Defenders: Isaac Isinde, Richard Juuko Kassaga, Murushid Jjuko, Shafiki Bakaki ,Alex Kakuba, Godfrey Walusimbi, Denis Iguma, Joseph Nsubuga

Midfielders: Miya Faruku, Khalid Aucho, William Luwagga Kizito, Kizito Kezironi, Brian Majwega

Strikers: Geofrey Massa, Robert Sentongo, Brian Umony
