Twenty Nine (29) FUFA referee assessors have successfully completed a two day FIFA member association assessors course at the FUFA Technical center in Njeru.

Among the participants have been two women assessors that include former FIFA woman referee, Catherine Constance Adipo and Margaret Kubingi.

The course started on Monday and was conducted by three FIFA Refereeing instructors.

Carlos Henriques from Gaborone-Botswana and Joseph Wellington Lamptey from Ghana have been handling the technical affairs.

Malawi born national, Mark Ephraim Mzengo handed the physical fitness issues.

Meanwhile, the 29 elite referees started their training on Tuesday.

“The referees have started with the medicals and physical fitness tests on Tuesday” Samuel Egesa told Kawowo Sports.

The course shall end on Friday 27th March,2015.
