3rd Beach Soccer Championship:

Finals: Namagabi S.S 3-1Tagy High School

Kayunga district’s Namagabi S.S has now won the secondary school’s beach soccer championship for a record third time.

Namagabi S.S claimed the feat after an emphatic 3-1victory over new entrants, Tagy High School.

Ashraf Nsimbi, Baker Buyala and Sharif Kisekka scored for Kayunga in the finals before Umar Kassim scored the consolation for Tagy High School.

In the preliminary round, Namagabi s.s beat Munta Royal College 4-2, lost 2-3 to Kyadondo s.s, and overcame St.Mary’s Namaliga 4-1 before rounding up with a 4-6 triumph over Tagy High school.

Overall, Namagabi scored 19 goals in the day long tourney played at Lido beach resort in Entebbe.

Five (5) schools participated in the event.

The event was organized by the Uganda Beach Soccer Association (UBSA).
