Federation of Kenya Football (FKF) Chairman Sam Nyamweya has been named by the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) in the ‘list of shame’ for embezzling the FA funds.

According to futaa.com, Nyamweya is listed number 92 on the list of leaders accused of engaging in corrupt activities in Kenya and also revealed that the case is under investigation.

Last week on Thursday March 26, Kenya President Uhuru Kenyatta ordered all leaders named in the list to step aside to allow investigations to be carried out and already a number of leaders including Cabinet Secretaries have stepped aside.

It remains to be seen whether Nyamweya who has been at the helm of the federation since 2011 will also step down.

Inside sources from the FA also indicate that Nyamweya will be seeking re-election when the FKF elections get underway in October this year.
