Boosting of several U-17 stars in the mould of winger Julius Poloto (formerly with Kasawo S.S), goal keeper, Ali Ramathan Mwirusi and Peter Lusimbula, Amus S.S scored 32 goals in 11 games, conceding a parity 3 goals.
How Amus S.S Made it:
At the regional stage, Amus, being the latest entrant of the 12 schools was seeded number 5 in group A alongside, Bukedea S.S, St. Tereza, Standard High and St. John.
They scored 9 goals in the 4 group regional games, conceding one before overcoming Kodir and St Tereza in the semi finals, finals with remarkable scores of 2-0 and 5-0 respectively.

During the district championships, Amus was drawn as seed three in group A, coming top of the group with 7 of the anticipated total points, scoring 11 goals and conceding three in the three group games.
Colline Onega scored the all important goal for Amus at the quarter final stage against Soroti S.S before bowing to Teso Progressive Academy at the semi finals stage.
In the third place off to determine the side that makes it alongside the two finalists, Amus ran riot with a 4-0 thumping of Kaberamaido s.s in a match Daniel Mugwanya notched a hat trick and Vincent Outa scoring the other.
Overall, goal poacher, Daniel Mugwanya top scored for the Bukedea based side with 8 goals before Derrick Onyai finished with 6 under his belt.
