Endurance races will be key at the second Seals League Swim Meet at Kampala Parents School, Naguru April 11 as ten schools and clubs are expected at the Uganda Swimming Federation sanctioned event.

“The Endurance races in the next meet will be key element for the swimmers who will be taking part at the next event,” Tefero Serunjogi, chairman of Seals Swim Club said at the launch of the second event meet at Kampala Parents School swimming pool on Saturday. “The key is too have the swimmers each used to endurance races early especially the young ones as it builds them up ahead of future races when they grow older.”

Endurance races are 400 meter Freestyle, 200 Meter Individual races, 200 meter Breaststroke, 200 Backstroke.  

According to the organisers Seals Swim Club, 10 schools and clubs have confirmed their participation including International School of Uganda and Dolphins Swim Club, these two giant school and club that have been a mainstay in Uganda swimming together with the hosts and other notable schools like Kampala International School, Blue Whales and new entrants Altona swimming club, Gliders just to mention a total of 69 events are lined up for the one day swimming event.
