Six  time National Basketball League champions Falcons have signed Kenya Port Authority (KPA) duo of centre, Ariel Okall and point guard, Joseph Shiva Ouma and are courting Martin Kitongo, also from KPA.

Though the club is yet to officially announce the signings, Kawowo Sports is reliably informed that Okall and Shiva will be in Uganda Tuesday.

Okall told Kawowo Sports,

Yes, I have made the move officially. It was just a matter of time before I make the move and now it’s now official

Okall, the 2014 reigning MVP of the Kenyan League expressed his desire to win title much as there is a big challenge ahead of him.

Am coming to Falcons to win championships and I don’t regret the move. The task ahead is heavy with teams like City Oilers, Tiger Head Power, KIU Titans and Stanbic Warriors. It’s a great challenge

Okall and Shiva will be tasked quest for Falcons’ seventh league title, there first since 2007, especially after losing back to back finals in 2012 and 2013 to Warriors and City Oilers respectively.

On  why he left the Kenyan basketball for Uganda, Okall said,

The Kenyan system has changed, they now play conference basketball.  It is difficult to have consistency in the game and I also feel I should try Uganda and get a taste of your kind of basketball.

Okall and Ouma come to Falcons with a lot of experience having represented Kenya at the 2014 Zone V Nations Championship in Kampala. The duo also played at the Zone V Club Championship where Uganda was represented by City Oilers and Tiger head Power.
