Ten clubs and schools are expected to take part in the second Seals Swim League swimming meet due this Saturday at the Kampala Parents School swimming arena in Naguru.
Top clubs expected in the second edition of this league meet that is sanctioned by Uganda Swimming Federation include Dolphins Swim Club, the hosts Seals Swim Club, International School of Uganda, as a team, Blue Whales, new entrants Altona Club, Gliders, Kampala International School of Uganda, Rainbow International School of Uganda just to mention.
This weekend’s second meet with have most of the focus on endurance for most of the swimmers as they build capacity on the swimmers endurance. The Uganda Swimming Federation sanctioned meet is part of it’s plan to develop the sport in the country and various levels as they seek to grow future swimmers for the country.
Swimming power house Dolphins Swim Club, that skipped the first meet will this time around take part entering a team of 30 swimmers.
A total of 69 events will be held with 100 swimmers expected.
