Uganda’s Duncan Mugabe, was dumped out by Nigerian qualifier Clifford Enosoregbe of the F1 Nigeria Futures tennis tournament that is going on at the Package B National Stadium in Abuja, Nigeria on Monday.
Enosoregbe, beat the Ugandan tennis ace 7-6(3), 6-2 to advance to the next round where he was set to meet seed 6 American Deiton Baughman in the next round.
Mugabe is using these tournaments as a build-up to the All Africa games due in Brazzaville, Congo in September were we will be vying to win a gold medal. He is a All Africa Bronze medallist.
The Ugandan tennis ace has teamed up with Nigerian Christian Paul and will be playing the pair of George Darko from Ghana and Nigeria’s Albert Bisong Bikom today in the men’s doubles.
