Bright Stars Vs Lweza – CS Mwerwere @ 4.00pm

After beating Police FC 1-0 in their previous game to end the eight match winless streak, Lweza FC Coach Hamza Kalanzi now set sights on the game against Bright Stars.

The two sides face off at Mwerwere on Friday with Lweza seeking a second victory on the bounce in ten games while Bright Stars target a return to winning ways after falling short in the previous three.

Kalanzi whose side is also in the semi-finals of the Uganda Cup with a home date against KCC FC on Sunday insists he takes each game at a time.

“Its first things first,” Kalanzi said. “For now, focus is on the league game against Bright Stars,” he added.

Kalanzi is expected to restore experienced winger Dan Wagaluka, strikers Fred Kalanzi and Geoffrey Sserunkuma and midfielder Peter Kamanje to the starting eleven after they missed out against KCC at Lugogo in the 1-0 loss.

Lweza are not yet safe from the drop and are aware that any slip up may affect their chances of survival.
The side are 12th on the 16 team log with 25 points while Bright Stars sit safely in 7th with 34 points.
