SC Villa Vs Entebbe – Nakivubo @ 4.30pm

Record league champions SC Villa will be seeking victory against Entebbe FC who they host at Nakivubo as they aim to keep pace with log leaders Vipers SC.

The Jogoos are 2nd on the table with 54 points just two behind Vipers who have played a game more and are aware that winning all their remaining fixtures and a draw against Vipers will lead them to their first triumph since 2004.

Entebbe who are languishing in relegation zone still have faint hopes of survival but must be at their best to stop The SC Villa side that is flying high at the moment.

Coach Richard Makumbi has warned the Blues saying Entebbe is on a mission to survive the drop.

“I know they are gunning for the title but we want to survive,” he said. “We shall try as much as we can to get points off them though it promises to be tough,” he added.

SC Villa won the reverse fixture 4-0 with Karim Ndugwa netting a hat trick. The striker has since joined Kenya’s AFC Leopards but remains SC Villa’s top scorer with eight goals.

Victory may lift SC Villa to the top of the log in case Vipers fail to beat Police FC.
