The Uganda Cricket Association (UCA) National League continued on Sunday at various venues.

In some of the day’s games, there were two breathe taking hundreds at Lugogo and Jinja Ovals.

Irfan Afridi of Kampala Institute CC (KICC) scored 103 runs off just 49 balls that included 2 boundaries and 12 sixes.

KICC won the toss and batted first, putting up 323 runs in 45.1 overs. This was in their tie against Charity Trust Fund Cricket Club, who were missing the services of Jonathan Sebanja who is away on a semi professional stint in England. The game had a total of 27 sixes with KICC hitting 20 of those.

In Jinja, Narinder Rathore of JACC ‘bludgeoned’ Jinja SS bowlers all over the park  for a well played 112 off 83 balls.

At the Lake side cricket oval in Entebbe, situated in the middle of Entebbe Golf Club, Mwiri Cricket Club posted 184 all out in 37.2 overs to overcome Pirates CC who recorded 91 all out in 28.5 overs.

The Pirates won the toss won and chose to Bowl. Mwiri’s Richard Agamire batted 38 off 45 balls. Andy Ault bowled 2 for 17 in 4 overs. Kampala Pirates’ Malcom Odendaal batted 29 (44) as Mwiri’s Richard Agamire bowled 4 for 16 in 7 overs.

The league resumes next weekend.
