Unconfirmed reports from Tanzania indicate that Uganda Cranes striker Daniel ‘Mzee’ Sserunkuma has parted ways with Simba FC.
This was revealed on the striker’s twitter on which he declared he had mutually agreed with the club to leave just after a single season
“Today, Simba FC, me and my agent have decided to mutually terminate my employment contract,” read the tweet.
Sserunkuma joined Simba last year from Kenya league champions Gor Mahia but has struggled to establish himself at the Msimbazi.
Early this year, the dreadlocked diminutive forward denied allegations of him being unhappy at Simba despite a tweet from his official twitter handle.
Efforts to speak to him about the issue were futile as his known mobile contacts couldn’t be reached.
