Uganda’s celebrated kick boxer, Moses Golola ‘Of Uganda’ and his opponent from Thailand, Awatapon Kamsunton are set for weigh in on Friday at HTB hotel in Kampala.

The weigh in comes on eve of the highly billed title fight on Saturday at Kati Kati restaurant, Lugogo.

Kamusunton arrived in the country on Wednesday aboard Ethiopian Airlines. The lanky Thailand based fighter came with his trainer, Win Panyaparichot Choath. He has been accomodated at HTB Hotel in Kampala where he also trained on Thursday.

Event promoter, Maureen Mulangira assures the public of maximum security and great organization on the D-day.

“Weigh in is on Thursday morning at HTB hotel. Preparations have been completed and we call upon all fans to come in big numbers” Mulangira calls.

Kamunston, who looked relaxed at the hotel has 75 fights, with 52 wins, 18 losses and 15 draws under his belt.

The vocal Golola had camped at Mabira for the last 3 weeks. There will be several under card fights with boxing and kick boxing bouts.

Entry fees on Saturday have been fixed on 10,000 and 30,000 for general wings and VIP wings respectively. Entertainment at the venue has been confirmed with several musicians including Uganda’s hottest musical icon King Saha assured of performed and Gates open at 6 p.m.
