Main Final: The Saints F.C Vs Maroons – 4 p.m

The world’s most famous book, the Holy Bible is remarkably quoted on two crucial aspects – a time to sow and that to reap the harvests.

For the months past, several FUFA Big league teams have been surely sowing millions in hundreds of capital.

From the preparations, payment of players and staff wages and salaries plus all the necessary logistics, the writing is surely on the wall, teams have invested big.

On Saturday evening, it will be an important day – to reap what has been sown over the months.

Two teams already know their feat – The Saints and Maroons having been promoted on the last day of the regular season for topping the Rwenzori and Elgon groups respectively.

On Saturday, the third team will be determined in the promotional play off.

This is between two Jinja town sides – Jinja S.S and Jinja Municipal Council.

Jina S.S qualified after dumping Water F.C 5-4 on penalties after a goal -less draw in the semi finals whilst Jinja Municipal Council beat Masaka L.C 1-0.

The opening game will be played at 2 p.m before the closing final to determine who is the overall champion of the FUFA Big league.

For the two reasons’ sake, Lugogo is expected to be a bee hive of activity starting 2 p.m till the final match and the trophy and medal presentation ceremony.

Promotion to Elite League:

Three sides will be confirmed by the close of business on Saturday to replace Entebbe, Rwenshama and a yet to be known third side.

Already, Rwenshama and Entebbe F.C have been confirmed to play in the FUFA Big league next season.

The two teams shall be joined by any of the four teams, Soana, Kira Young, Simba or Lweza.
