Ahead of the Dalumba Cup semi finals, Mukwano United has protested Nsenene F.C’s 3-2 victory.

Mukwano United accuse Nsenene, of fielding Rashid Katoito, who has been featuring for FUFA Big league club, Baza Holdings F.C.

“The tournament rules and regulations are clear, no active FUFA Big league and super division player is allowed to play. So we shall meet as the executive and make a ruling” Solomon Saka, one of the officials on the organizing committee told Kawowo Sports.

There are four teams left in the tournament so far.

These are Nsenene F.C, Gummer, Kalungi Plaza B and Shop rite Ben Kiwanuka street.

How the Quarters Went:
Cup holders and favorites, Gummer F.C easily defeated Gummer 3-0 in one of the four quarter final matches played on Sunday at Kibuli play ground.

Charles Napia scored a beautiful hat-trick over a hapless Modern Sarah side, to take his personal tally to 6 in the tournament.

Nsenene F.C progressed at the expense of Mukwano United in a five goal thriller that ended 3-2.

Mukwano scored through Bashir Babu and Fahad  Mawanda before Nsensene’s goals came off the feet of Rasuli Mpagi, Davis Kyoma and Rashid Katoito, who is being contested.

Kalungi Plaza B were 2-1 victors over Mitina Electronics.

Kisimi Kasozi and Dan Ssekamatte had Kalungi Plaza’s goals with Medi Sserunkuma.

Shoprite Ben Kiwanuka ensured they become the fourth side to this year’s semi final stage, progressing at the hands of Friends United.

Brian Mukiibi registered a brace for the Shoprite side as Patrick Ssenkumba had Friends United’s consolation.

Head of technical affairs, Solomon Ssaka, also a radio presenter with fast growing city radio, Innerman F.M told Kawowo Sports.

Charles Napia of Gummer F.C leads the scoring chart with 6 goals , closely followed by Mukwano United’s Fahad Mawanda.

This is the second time that the tournament is being held on grounds of providing that plat form for city businessmen and arcade workers within Kampala to meet, socialize and keep fit as well.
