It will be a Painful Night on September 4 when Umar “The Pain” Semata, puts his WFK World welterweight belt on the line when he takes on “Big Talking” Papua New Guinea’s Lee Henry Garap in the main event of the 4th IBM Gala 2015 at Hotel Africana People’s Space.
“He has been talking too much and has always wanted to fight me now that moment has arrived,” Semata said at the launch of the fight at Hotel Africana this morning. “I am a man of few words and I like my kickboxing skills to do the talking in the ring come that day.”
The fight is a full contact fight with 5 rounds with 3 minutes per round. The fight is being promoted by Sipapa Global Entertainment and Lash Media. Semata goes into the fight with a record of 29 wins, 12 loses and 16 KOs he is also the WBC Muay Thai Welterweight champion and recently won the Kumlun World Welterweight belt in Hong Kong.
Garup, is the number one contender in the 66.8 kilograms in the World Kickboxing Federation.
UPDF’s J. “AK47” Tumukunde will also be vying for the vacant 58.2 kilogram World Kickboxing Federation belt against South African Nkosinathi “Tiger” Ximba, who has a record of 27 wins, 3 losses and 18 KOs.
Other fights on the undercard include Liberian Victor “Hot Chilli” Nagbe taking on welterweight taking on Papua New Guinea’s Alphonse Kauga while South African Ncedo “Nintendo” Gomba takes on Anvar Bony Arouz.
