Rock Catalina pool club overcame nemesis, Spice Pool club to win the Ntinda derby 14-6 played at Rock Catalina Bar on Sunday in the one of the games for the Senior pool league.

William Busingye, Rogers ‘Panda’ Musinguzi, Stephen Sentongo, Augstine Olumu and Hazard Odumu inspired the home team, Rock Catalina with a commanding 9-1 lead in the first half.

By the start of the second half, they only needed 2 goals to register for the victory. . Still at the Catalina pool Bar, Hotpool Club had no respect for Jinja’s Trust and Obey after winning 17-3.

Hotpool owes this victory to the heroics of Humphrey Nsubuga and record national open winner, Jonan Turigye.

Humphrey scored a break and finish (A) which gave the hosts this much needed victory.

“It was an easy win for us because we won it from the start and there nothing to fear my boys were perfect” said Bob Trubish who is the Chief Financial Manager.

In Other games played Champions Skin Samona narrowly survived Ndeba based Club Rotex who managed to make a 5-5 Halftime Score.

But Skin Samona gallantly fought back to win 12-8 thanks to Pool Association of Uganda (PAU) seed 4 Sula Matovu.

Nansana based Icon pool club had to fight till the last game to make a stalemate against an on form Gals / Betway.

Icon will have to thanks Patrick Mujuzi for his hard earned win against Godfrey ‘Fire’ Setumba.
