The former West Ham and West Brom English born tactician, who took over the ruins of former coach,  Stanley Tshosane in October 2014, named a 29 man squad that has 5 goal keepers, 11 defenders, 9 midfielders and 4 strikers.

Striker, Striker Omaatla Kebatho and midfielder Kabelo Seakanyeng are two of the several players who featured prominently for the country’s U-23 side that eliminated Kenya in the CAF U-23 championship first round qualifier.

Gaborone United star left footed player, Mpho Kgaswane is among the nine midfielders named on the preliminary squad.

Kgaswane had a great time out at the recently concluded COSAFA tournament in South Africa.

The 29 will be trimmed to 18 who will make the Kampala trip next week before the rest of the home based players prepare for the CHAN 2016 qualifier against Lesotho.

Meanwhile, Uganda Cranes team of 24 enters the 5th day of non residential training on Friday at Lugogo.

South African based striker, Geofrey Massa, who rested out the Thursday session because of neck pains and malaria is expected to be part of the 5th day training.
