Uganda Cranes remains 71st out of the 209 footballing nations in the world, 19th on the African continent.

This is manifested as per the latest FIFA/Coca rankings released on Thursday, 4th July 2015.

Uganda has 504 points, an improvement from last month’s 485 points. Being 71st, Uganda remains the best ranked East African country.

Rwanda, losers 4-1 on aggregate to Uganda U-23 side, The Kobs in the CAF U-23 qualifiers, drop a massive places to 94th.

Ethiopia is 99th with 324 points. Sudan lies 108th (292 points), Kenya is 123rd (220 points), Tanzania lies 127th (215 points), Burundi lies 134th with 194 points.

Uganda’s 9th June 2015 international build up opponent, Gambia drops 3 places to 160th with 124 points. South Sudan is 197th with just 24 points.

Eritrea, Somalia and Djibouti are the lowest ranked CECAFA regional teams lying in 204, 206 and 207 positions respectively.

Uganda AFCON 2017 qualification opponents:

Burkina Faso maintains their 66th place from April’s rankings, Botswana is placed 111th (285 points). Comoros is 190th with 44 points.

Top Cream:

Germany (1775.04 points) maintains grip at the summit of the 209 nations. Belgium displaces Argentina from second place.
