Uganda Cup Final Replay – Tuesday June 16, 2015
SC Villa Vs KCC FC – Mandela National stadium, Namboole
KCC FC will have to negotiate the Uganda Cup finals replay minus three suspended players Kawowo Sports has exclusively learnt.
The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) ordered a replay of the finals after the abandonment of the first game in Ntungamo following controversial decisions by centre referee Robert Donney.
“We regret the incident that has happened. The FUFA Executive has the powers to meet in incidences of emergency. The match shall be replayed on Tuesday, 16th June 2015 at Nelson Mandela National Stadium, Namboole,” said FUFA boss Moses Magogo in the aftermath.
Though Magogo described referee Donney as incompetent on the day, his match report for the 72 minutes played counts and it’s in this match report that three KCC FC players appear as red carded.

The three are midfielders Hakim Senkumba, Owen Kasule and defender Joseph Ochaya who in Donney’s report were all sent off and thus will miss the replay.
Of the trio, only Hakim Senkumba was shown marching orders on the day at Kyamate for stamping on midfielder Abdul Karim Kasule.
“Though the other two were not shown red cards on the pitch, the referee’s report indicates it and they won’t play on Tuesday,” a source which preferred anonymity said.
When asked whether such a communication has been delivered to KCC FC yet, the source said; “Not yet but they will receive it before the game. The problem is that there is no time frame for communication. It may even come hours to kick off.”
It remains to be seen how the Lugogo based side will react to this news but as usual, we’ll keep you posted.
