Unlike all teams playing at the 17th edition of the African Women Volleyball Championship in Nairobi, holders Kenya are yet to drop a set after their 3-0 (25-19, 25-12, 25-18) win over Botswana on Monday.

The eight time winner will face Pool B second placed Cameroon in the semifinals on Thursday with a 100 percent record.

Earlier on Kenya defeated Mauritius 3-0 (25-12, 25-13, 25-17) before passing the biggest test of the championship so far when they whitewashed Algeria in the same manner (25-20, 25-22, 25-29).

Algeria who are 2009 winners do join Kenya into the last four from Pool A after they defeated Mauritius 3-0 (25-15, 25-15, 26-24) also on Monday and they will take on Senegal. Algeria dropped a set while playing Botswana but eventually won 3-1 (25-17, 17-25, 25-20, 25-15) in the other group tie.

Botswana finished third in pool A and will play Morocco who finished last in Pool B in their classification match.

Mauritius who were rock-bottom in Pool A will play third placed Tunisia in Pool B in the other classification match starting Wednesday.
