The national women league enters the semi final play offs on Wednesday with two matches lined up.

“We had a last minute change in venue from Lugogo to Nakivubo. We are sorry for any inconveniences caused” FUFA spokesman, Ahmed Hussein says.

There are four teams left in the league; Western, Buikwe She Red Stars, Kawempe Muslim Secondary School and She Corporates.

In the opening match of the play off, Western United takes on Buikwe She Red Stars at 2 p.m.

Then, Kawempe Muslim Secondary school will play the She Corporates in the second game on menu.

“We expect tough games because all the teams have prepared well for the play-offs” FUFA Competitions director, Ali Mwebe said.

The most awaited fixture will be between She Corporates led by Christian Wanyana taking on the per-tournament favorites, Kawempe Muslim.

Kawempe Muslim will heavily rely on the free scoring prowess of Sandra Nabweteme, the league’s top scorer on 16 goals and Hasifa Nassuna.
