1st Leg – 20th June 2015 Tanzania Vs Uganda – Amman Stadium, Zanzibar (8 p.m)
Uganda Cranes’ head coach Miultin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic has named the final team of 18 players travelling to Zanzibar a head of the first leg tie in 2016 CAF African Nations Championship qualifiers in Zanzibar.
Notably missing is KCC goalie, Benjamin Ochan from the side that will be captained by Hassan Wasswa Mawanda.
Ochan misses out on the team at the expense of Brian Bwete and James Alitho.
The team departs for Zanzibar on Thursday afternoon aboard Ethiopian Airlines.
“No one is sure of a starting slot on the team. It will be down to the last training session at Amman stadium,” Micho warned the players upon departure.
CHAN is a tournament only for the home based players and the 2016 edition will be hosted by Rwanda.
