The annual golf challenge between Entebbe Club and Toro Club takes center stage tomorrow when the hosts entertain their visitors in the Entoro Cup at the par 71 Entebbe Club.
The tournament will match Entebbe’s best with Toro’s best in a high anticipated clash, but at the same time doubles at the Castle Lite June Mug of Mugs, which is the second quarter of the year.
Toro Club is expected to line-up national golf stars Adolf Muhumuza, his older brother Lawrence Muhenda, Ronald Otile, Ronald Rugumayo, Jonathan Musinguzi, while Entebbe will front Robert “Escobar” Oluba, Henry Lujja, Andrew Byaruhanga, Patrick Mwaka, Boney Amale, Aaron Mugumbula, Chairman Entebbe Club Innocent Kihika, captain Oscar Semawere just to mention.
Subsquently they will be a return leg in the year with the Toro Club hosting the return leg. At the same time the race for the overall Golfer of Entebbe club hots up when they host the Castle Lite June Mug of Mugs with Alan Muhereza and Dusty Hill in top contention for ranking points in the tournament with Muhereza at 363 points while the latter has 380 points.
Daniel Opwonya and Alex Kamugisha have 381 and 382 respectively.
