Less than 24 hours after being appointed as manager and assistant at KCC FC, Mike Mutebi and Sam Ssimbwa have started their duties at Lugogo by releasing ten players.
In a closed door meeting held at the club’s home ground in Lugogo on Friday morning with all the team’s players available, the new technical team announced that defenders Ibrahim Kizza, Ronnie Kisekka, Isaac Ntege and Simon Namwanja are no longer part of the team.

Others released are midfielders William Wadri, Rogers Lukwiya and Baker Lukooya.
Strikers Herman Wasswa and Francis Olaki have also been released. Olaki and Lukooya joined the club in January with the former playing just three games thanks to injuries.
There are also new faces at the club among which is Martin Mpuuga from SCVU, Dan Nsubuga (SCVU) and Hassan Wasswa (Express).
Midfielder Muzamir Mutyaba who is currently with the national team has also been confirmed amongst the new signings.
Meanwhile, the meeting is still ongoing and we shall keep you posted with the development.
