Vision Volleyball Camp (VVC) coach, Hannigton Nsubuga is confident that his charges are in fine shape and unstoppable going in the 19th edition of the Nkumba Open Championship this Weekend.

Nsubuga says VVC won’t be in donor mood to give away even a single game in the two-day tournament to be played at Nkumba University.

Of course, the ambition mission isn’t farfetched, since their inception last year, VVC have their name inked on 14 titles, five of them coming this year.

Fresh from defending the Aporu Okol Memorial Tournament last weekend in Kumi, the Namboole based side travel to the Nkumba as favorites, observers purring over their unmatched success.

Nsubuga is confident no team can stand in their way. “We have prepared very well going into the tournament and I am confident no team can stop us.” “Secondly, we go into the tournament as defending champions and this will motivate us to fight and win every opponent we are to meet,” he told Kawowo Sports.

In the bid to activate playing moods, Friday evening training has been called off to give the players a breather. “We are not going to train today (Friday) to give the players a break since the tournament is tomorrow.”

VVC beat Ndejje Elites 3-1 ( 25-16, 23-25, 15-25 and 25-15) last year in the final of a tournament that brings together Clubs, Universities, secondary and primary schools in both men and ladies category.
