2015 National Cycling Championship (160KM): Sunday, 5th July 2015 in Iganga

Ahead of Sunday’s National Cycling Championship in Iganga, the Uganda Cycling competitions committee on Tuesday (30th June 2015) carried out the second workshop.

The committee had last week held a similar programme meant to sensitize Boda Boda riders to refrain from interfering in the race which was the habit in Busoga areas in previous races.

The Adam Ssali led committee will later inspect the route, covering at least 160km.

The race on Sunday will start from Iganga town   to  Jinja  and Kubbiri round about, go back to Iganga take Tirinyi road and cover areas of Busembatya, Namutumba, Mazuba and finally go back to Iganga.

The Uganda Cycling Association (UCA) evidently looks to be on course with well planned activities on the calendar.

David Isabirye is a senior staff writer for Kawowo Sports where he covers most of the major events.
