Sky Volleyball Club registered their second victory in succession following a comfortable 3-1 set win over OKAVC on Sunday at Makerere University Business School.

Sky who came into the game on the back of a morale boasting win over giants Nemostars on Friday won in sets 25-20, 25-11, 16-25 and 25-2 thanks to a stellar performances from Isaac Omendo and John Bosco Opendi.

The Lwarance Yakan coached side looked confident in style with an effective mixture off aggressive offence and robust defence, combined with good communication allowed to speed into early lead.

The tempo of attack led by Emma Kato and Isaac Omendo didn’t allow OKAVC to settle, and setter John Bosco Opendi varied the point of offense to keep their opponents’ defense on back foot.

“We played according to plan and I am happy that we have won. We are to train more harder to get more results” Lawrance Yakan said.

Victory meant that Sky took their points tally to six points.

For OKAVC, it was an afternoon of frustration. They did right things but a split second late with sloppy hitting and all meaningful ones intercepted.
