One certainty is that UCU Doves are aware that when they welcome Nkumba Navy in Mukono on Wensday, they won’t be contending with the thunderous hits of Power attacker Kathbert Malinga or even the industrious work of setter Muhamad Olinga.

The Malinga-Olinga pair is apparently with St.Mary’s Kitende at the National Post Primary Ball Games in Gulu.

Malinga’s exploits have to a great extent been pivotal to Nkumba’s good start of the season, but Team Captain Mohamed ‘Nepo’ Angiro has not been moved by the fact their star player is missing and concedes they can pick victory away from home.

“He is one of our best players at the moment but we will try to coup up without him” Said Angiro

“UCU Doves will be playing at home but this is the side we have played before and we have got an edge over” Angiro told the Daily Monitor.

In the absence of Malinga and Olinga, the 2011 champions will be counting on Jackson Mari and Moses Opio.
