Uganda Kobs team resumed training  at Nakivubo war memorial stadium on Thursday evening with five new faces to the side.

New SC Villa recruits, Ambrose Kirya and Patrick Mbowa were joined by Vipers’ diminutive left back, Dan Birikwarira and Brian Nkuubi alongside Police F.C’s Sadat Kyambadde in training that lasted 2 hours.

There were 22 players overall who trained with four notable absentees in Derrick Tekwo, Richard Kasagga, Denis Okot and Muzamiru Mutyaba.

It is good we start. Tekwo is taking a rest after a marathon of matches with the KCC players back at their club. We shall have a test match against KCC on Friday morning

If all goes as planned, the team is expected to fly out early for a training camp in Tunisia.
