Uganda and Tanzania have dropped places in the latest release of FIFA ranking while there has been a rise for Rwanda and Sudan.
71st in the previous month, Uganda has dropped two slots and now lies 73rd with 467 points while Tanzania have dropped 12 slots to number 139th.
Surprisingly, Kenya despite failing to get past Ethiopia in the 2016 CHAN qualifiers has risen seven places and are now 116th in the world.
There has also been a rise for Rwanda and Sudan who are now ranked 78th and 90th respectively having risen 16 and 18 places respectively.
Elsewhere, Uganda’s 2017 AFCON qualifiers opponents Burkina Faso, Botswana and Comoros are ranked 72nd, 120th and 187th respectively.
Algeria remains the highest ranked nation on the continent in 19th while Argentina, Germany, Belgium, Colombia and Netherlands make the top five.
