Naguru Infant School beat three schools to claim the second Inter School Tennis Competition over the weekend at the East Kololo Primary School, Sports grounds.

The Naguru school, beat Kampala Deaf School to claim the overall crown in a one day tournament that attracted 54 participants and four schools in an event that was organised by Tennis For All that is run by tennis coaches Julius Kyobe and Vincent Muwereza.

Shimoni Demomstration School and East Kololo Primary School finished third and fourth respectively.

“I want this tournament to be held thrice a year, but I have to struggle to put resources to organise it,” Vincent Muwereza, from Tennis For All said. “I would love to have a bigger event and hopeful in October we shall organise the Inter School Mini tennis championships.”

All the winning schools got certificates, scholastic materials and a trophies.
