The injury concern for Uganda Kobs skipper, Farouk Miya is now dead and buried.

This follows a remarkable improvement of the play making captain who limped out of the Saturday training.

“Miya has had a great response to treatment and it is not surprising he is well now” team doctor, Yahaya Katumba told Kawowo Sports.

The Vipers midfielder trained for the entire session on Monday during the team’s training at the African Bible University, Lubowa.

He capped his overall performance with two spectacular goals in the 3 hour session.

“I feel better, I can sprint well and shoot from near and far. I am ready to represent my country” the calm player said.

Miya had an incredible season for club and country. He will once again lead the Kobs against KCC in the second friendly game at Namboole on Tuesday evening.

He is expected to play an integral role when Uganda travels to Egypt for the first away tie before the return leg at home on 1st August 2015 at Nakivubo war memorial stadium.
