Ugandan Cranes and Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) midfielder, Yasser Mugerwa could be a Buccaneer soon. This follows an impressive show in the trials at Orlando Pirates.
Mugerwa made the first impression over the two legs of the CAF Champions League between URA F.C and Orlando Pirates and as tax collectors bowed out, the sleek midfielder made his mark.
According to Soccer Laduma, the midfielder has impressed the Pirates technical bench and could earn himself a contract with the Buccaneers.
Mugerwa played for the Pirates against Royal Leopards in Swaziland on Saturday and he made his mark and Soccer Laduma source that is with the team in Swaziland told the Siya crew that Mugerwa could win himself a contract at the team.
“That other Ugandan midfielder Mugerwa has impressed the coaches. He had been with the team for almost a week now and he has shown that he can do well in the PSL,” the source told Soccer Laduma.
“He played in Swaziland and the technical team was happy with him but no decision has been made yet at this point in time.”
