Adama City (Ethiopia) Vs Azam (Tanzania) – National stadium, Dar es Salaam @ 4pm

Ethiopia’s representatives Adam City may have lost their two opening games at the CECAFA Kagame Cup but still have all to play for when they take on Azam at National stadium, Dar es Salaam in their last group game.

Albeit sitting at the base of group C with no point and a goal difference of negative two, Adama can reach the last eight with a decent margin victory over Azam if either of KCC or Malakia loose in the other group fixture.

Adama will look to midfielder Yonatan Kebede for inspiration. The Ethiopian international has been superb in both games his side has played.

Azam FC Coach Stewart Hall is expected to reshuffle his starting eleven with midfielder Salum Abubaker expected to start on the bench after he got a knock in the 2-1 victory over Malakia.

Ivorian Kipre Herman Tchetche may start his first game of the tournament while Didier Kavumbagu may also return to the team after missing out on the 2-1 victory over Malakia.

Azam are already through to the last eight and a draw will confirm their top status in group C. They may however fall to second with a stunning loss against Adama coupled with either KCC FC or Malakia winning in the other group fixture although win margins will play a role.
