What best experience can a budding sportsman be granted than a foreign trip of adventure and talent exposure?
Such trips to say the least, have always acted as catalysts for future super stars in the respective sporting disciplines as the youngsters aspire for a star status quo in their own image.
Edgars Youth Programme U-16 and U-11 football teams were officially flagged off from their African Bible University-Lubowa based home on Friday for the United Kingdom.
While there, they have been confirmed for the Wales International Super Cup, a visit to the famous Millennium and Old Trafford Stadia later.
John Kiseka flagged off the contingent that constituted players, support staff and a parent, Juliet Nabukenya.
The programme Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Philip Kiwana thanked the parents of the players for the cooperation but urged the players to be disciplined throughout the trip for fruitful dividends to be reaped from the tour.

Leader of delegation, Arthur Kyesimira, also a Certified CAF C coach requested the players to offer their best effort since they are representing Uganda as a nation.
You are the next star in the making. Be disciplined and give your best. You are now building your career ladder just like our player, Karl Martins who was spotted by Tottenham Hotspurs scouts and taken to their academy where he has graduated to the reserve team.
This is the fifth time that Edgars Youth team is sending a team to this tournament.
