The Bright Stars’ double footed new recruit signed from relegated Entebbe Football Club has continued to impress and win many souls at the Kawempe side, coached by Uganda Cranes goal keeping coach, Fred Kajoba.
Bajja scored one of Bright Stars’ goals on the day to maintain his scoring rich vein of form of the pre-season. Another new recruit, Ali Keita Mbogo, signed from FUFA Big league side, Proline headed the other in the game played at Wankulukuku Stadium on Thursday morning.
Express mounted a late surge with a remarkable comeback scoring two goals at the death through Emma Kalyowa.
This has been Bright Stars’ third build up game in the closed season following the 4-0 victory at their Mwerere home against Kamwokya side, Erimu Football Club and overcoming Kampala regional side Stegota F.C 2-1.
Bright Stars will play a first division outfit, Matugga F.C on Friday morning at their training base in Matugga before a Western Uganda region tour against Mbarara United in the coming week.
