Vipers SC 0-0 SC Villa (Vipers win 5-3 on penalties)

Reigning league champions Vipers SC had to play with ten men for over 45 minutes but still beat SC Villa at Nakivubo to win the FUFA Super Cup.

Following a goalless draw after normal time, Vipers edged the penalty shootout 5-3 to lift the trophy, 25 gold medals and prize money worthy 1.5 million Ugx.

Robert Achema was the villain for the Blues after he missed from 12 yards after Halidi Lwalirwa had fouled new boy Godfrey Lwesibawa in the area.

In the shootout, Vipers converted all their five through Farouk Miya, Joseph Mpande, Brian Nkuubi, Deus Bukenya and William Wadri who made his debut for the team while on the other end, Waibi missed to give the league champions an advantage.
