The Nile Special National Pool mini qualifiers continued over the weekend with some shocks and obvious successful feats.
At Pacify Wakaliga, the managing director of Samona Products  Salongo Kasawuli Samona missed a chance of qualifying to the regionals after losing to Meddie Kalanzi in the quarter Finals.
Kabale’s best player who has topped Kabale Region for two years made it to the regional stage after qualifying at Royal Comfort in the South Western district.

Byaruhanga who was expected to play last weekend  at Agaba Tavern made his way through with a brilliant display.
Christened ‘Owensiyona’, Byaruhanga will await for Saturday, 3rd October 2015 at Pine Health Club to go through for the Grand Finale which is Scheduled for October 24, 2015 at Lugogo Indoor Stadium. 
In Kampala Central,  Joseph Kasozi, a Scrapbuyers top player  will play the Regionals at his home venue at Lumas. 
Kasozi will face his teamate Charles Segawa, Eddy Kawuki from Anchors, Kizito Richard from Indigo, Odida Michael from Boat and Agaba Isca who is the Assistant Captain at Boat Pool Club. 
“That Predicts a Tough Competition at Lumas with about 10 Big Names” Pool publicity secretary, Michael Mawanda notes in a press statement.
128 players will vey for the top prize at the national grand finals in Lugogo with the 120 qualifying at various regional centers across the country.
The top eight seeded players are already booked at the national finals.
Skin Samona player, Fahad Ssewankambo is the defending champion.
