Crunch duel as coach battles trainee at 3rd beach woodball circuit

3^rd Beach Woodball Circuit:

• At Sports Beach, Entebbe (Noon till late)

Games are as interesting and unique for their magnetic appeal that can even unite two parallel forces.

Cases  when a servant gets the lee way to ‘revenge’ (sportingly) towards the master in tennis, woodball, hockey, football, golf are very well documented.

Seldom do such moments come calling in normal life. During this coming third beach woodball circuit at Sports beach in Entebbe, it will be an opportune scenario to experience a clash of egos between the coach and his trainee.

Among the several key battles will witness Ronald Kawumba (Ndejje University) take on his coach, Onesmus Atamba in the fight for top spot in the men’s rankings.

Kawumba has accumulated 100 points from the previous two circuits compared to Atamba’s 96.

 At the last outing, Kawumba emerged winner with 43 strokes and Atamba finished in 7^th position with 49 strokes.

Atamba can only get the top spot if he finishes 5 places better than Kawumba on Sunday.

Elsewhere, It remains a ‘four-horse’ race in the ladies category.

 Last year’s champion Joan Mukoova is joint with 2010 seed one, Sophia Namuddu as the two share 56 points apiece.

 Namuddu, turning out for Ndejje Woodball Club carded 53 strokes to win the 1^st Circuit and Mukoova of Ndejje University woodball club carded the same strokes to win the 2^nd Circuit.

 However, Namuddu is skeptical about her form come Sunday saying;

 I am currently off-form and not been training. But I promise to put up a fight for the title

Contrary to Namuddu’s fear, Mukoova Joan seems all fired-up, posting on face book event page created by the Uganda Wooball Federation;

If u dare, BRING IT On….Am Ready To Defend.

The chasing pack has two seasoned players in Shamsa Nantege Kyolaba of Ndejje Woodball Club and Ndejje University’s Lillian Zawedde Lillian tied on 54 points apiece.

 All the four stand a chance of toping the table but a lot of mathematics and prayers will be involved.

For one reason or the other, the coach or trainee affair is a must watch.
