Lweza FC Vs SC Villa – Mutesa II stadium, Wankulukuku @ 4.30pm

Despite losing their two opening games, Lweza FC Coach Joseph Mutyaba has assured fans that there won’t be another loss when they host SC Villa.

The two sides face off at Mutesa II stadium, Wankulukuku with the hosts in search of their first point of the season after suffering losses at Soana and against Express FC.

“The least we are targeting is a point,” he stated. “We can’t afford any other slip ups this time round,” he added.

Asked whether he is under any pressure after a false start to the campaign, the ex-SC Villa and Express FC midfielder said; “None. It’s still early days in the season and am confident we’ll arrest the bad form sooner than later.”

Last season while at Bul. FC, Mutyaba described the side as a weak following a 1-1 draw at Nakivubo but he feels the side has slightly improved from last season’s.

“They did sign young and fitter players this season. They look better than last season and will be tougher.”

Mutyaba is expected to maintain the same team that lost 2-1 to Express FC seven days ago although striker Yuda Mugalu is doubtful.

Former SC Villa star Nestroy Kizito, Ayub Kisaliita and Moses Ndaula are all expected to turn guns against former bosses.

Meanwhile, SC Villa will go into the game in better mood having won their previous game 2-1 against SC Victoria University.

The 9th placed record league champions are expected to rely on Martin Kizza, Ambrose Kirya and Robert Achema for inspiration while striker Umar Kasumba will be hoping to rediscover his last season’s predatory instincts.

The corresponding fixture last season ended 3-1 in favour of SC Villa thanks to goals from Ronald Muganga, Erisa Sekisambu and Abdul Karim Kasule while Ndaula scored Lweza’s consolation.
