  • Police Vs Sadolin Paints – Kavumba Recreational Stadium

Two closely rated Uganda premier league teams, Police F.C and Sadolin Paints football club face off on Tuesday at Kavumba Recreational stadium.

Judging by the current table standings, the two sides share 6 points apiece from the four league engagements played so far.

Police F.C is fifth, a slot above Jinja’s Sadolin Paints because of goal difference.

This gives the implication; the tie will present a situation of winner takes it all over the other.

Both clubs have had a boggy start to the season with mixed results.

Ben Ocen, Police F.C’s lead marksman thus far will once again be the main focus on the home turf unfamiliar to most visiting sides.

Coach Angelo Lonyesi will also optimally use Ivan Kyaterekera’s positional awareness, Sadat Kyambadde’s robustness and Rahmat Ssenfuka’s swift play in a quest for the positive results at home.

The visitors suffered a 3-1 loss the last time the two teams faced off at Kavumba recreational stadium.

In midfield gem, Peter Katumba, recently named team skipper, Sadolin Paints has the perfect leader and commander in chief of the Painter’s army that coach Simon Kirumira identified.

Utility player, Andrew Basooma’s experience will be key for this fixture at a time he is facing his former pay masters.

The game which will also be live on TV is expected to kick off at 4: 00 p.m, handled by David Odoi as the center referee.
